I have known Anthony for over twenty years, and he has always been extremely active in Local community affairs. He has been Mayor of Moreland Council and President of the Moreland Community Health Center . I have always known Anthony to put the community first. He understands how important it is that the cultures of our community are free to express themselves in their art & music. Working together the different cultures of Moreland can make a great city.

I am positively delighted that Anthony helou has decided to present himself as a candidate for Merri ward . Ever since I have known him, Anthony has impressed me as a hard working person who is deeply involved in local issues. Unlike his opponent, Anthony lives in the ward with his family in Mitchell Street and has been very active in local community affairs. I see Anthony’s decision to stand for Council as an extension of his community involvement and I know that dedication and talents for the benefits of all residents in Merri Ward.
